This week is a jam packed week for college sports fans as SEC Media Days kickoff, the EA College Football video game is released, and the MLB Draft is underway. The College Football season is around the corner meaning the weeks to come will be filled with awards nominations, news, and updated depth charts.

USA Today unveiled its network wide First-Team All SEC list with a pair of LSU Tigers making the cut. The list is dominated by the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide as they combine for nine selections with Alabama leading the way with five selections.

Left Tackle Will Campbell continues his dominance this pre-season picking up another accolade to add to his long resume. The most shocking part of Campbell's selection is the fact that he wasn't a unanimous selection.

On the defensive side of the list, LSU's only selection is Linebacker Harold Perkins who unlike Will Campbell was a unanimous selection. Everyone in the media is seemingly on board with the notion that Perkins will take a massive step forward in Blake Baker's defense which bodes well for LSU.

Former LSU Tiger Landon Jackson made the list as a defensive lineman for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The One Massive Miss by the USA Today team

If there is one player that the Media is seemingly low on from LSU this preseason it's Right Tackle Emery Jones Jr. Emery Jones was left off of the list as Texas Left Tackle Kelvin Banks was selected to the team. The biggest gripe with the USA Today team is that the team should resemble an actual team with a left and right tackle rather than using the best two left tackles. Thiis offseason has given Emery Jones extra motivation as he'll look to prove everyone wrong this season.
