Amazon Prime releases "The Money Game" a documentary on NIL at LSU
While we all countdown the days until we get to see the LSU Football team on the field again, we were given some new LSU content we should all tune into. Amazon Prime released "The Money Game" today, the show is a six-part documentary series about Name, Image, and Likeness at LSU. The documentary series is Executive produced by Shaquille O'Neal.
The documentary follows Jayden Daniels (football), Angel Reese (NCAAW), Livvy Dunne (gymnastics), Flau'jae Johnson (NCAAW), Alia Armstrong (Track & Field), and Trace Young (NCAAM).
This past year was a massive success for LSU as a brand with Jayden Daniels winning the Heisman, Angel Reese and Flau'jae Johnson's continuous rise in popularity, and Livvy Dunne's continued social media success.
While most won't be too interested in what NIL deals these athletes are getting, this will be massive for LSU across all sports in one area. If you're Brian Kelly, Matt McMahon, Jay Johnson, Kim Mulkey, or any of LSU's other coaches, you should be sending this series to every recruiting target. LSU has been at the forefront of marketing it's athletes helping them land the best NIL deals possible setting them up for success off of their respective fields.
LSU continues to prove how great it's doing in the NIL space by allowing this documentary to be made as it's putting it's athletes on the big stage for everyone to see. This documentary also gets the athletes in it another NIL deal as they'll collect a talent fee for appearing.
Given how massive NIL is in recruiting pitches, LSU being the best at it in the right way rather than having a bigger collective than everyone else is a massive asset for the athletics program.
