This season, all of the talk around rookies in the WNBA has been about Caitlin Clark but, Angel Reese has been dominant early on in her rookie year. Currently, Angel Reese has a streak of 11 straight games with a double double which is a WNBA single-season record. The former LSU Tiger has been a bright spot for a rebuilding Chicago Sky team that is only 7-11 this season.

This season Reese has been impressive averaging 13.3 Points Per Game, 11.4 Rebounds per game, and 1.5 steals per game averaging a double-double. The incredible season by Angel Reese has earned her a spot on the WNBA All-Star team alongside fellow rookie and rival Caitlin Clark.

Thus far in her career, Reese is establishing herself as one of the best rebounders in the WNBA despite being a rookie forward. Every game becomes more and more impressive with Reese bringing in 19 rebounds in Tuesday Night's game against the Atlanta Dream.

Reese will have a chance to tie history next game as she'll look to record her twelfth straight double tying Candace Parker's all-time record with 12 consecutive double-doubles.

Angel Reese clearly was underrated in the WNBA Draft

While being selected seventh overall in the WNBA Draft is an incredible honor it's becoming clear that she was drafted far too low. This rookie class has been Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese battling to be the top rookie and everyone else is clearly a level behind them. If team's had another go around, they'd certainly consider taking Reese much earlier as she's not only scoring but, rebounding at an elite level.
