Thursday's NFL Draft will be a great day for LSU Football as three LSU Tigers hear their names called in round one of the NFL Draft. Both Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers seemingly know their range as they'll assuredly be top ten selection. Projecting where Brian Thomas Jr ends up is harder as his range truly can be anywhere in the first round. However, according to Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz, Thomas may hear his name early on in round one of the draft.

Working in Brian Thomas Jr's favor is a massive demand for wide receivers as nearly 12 teams in the first round have a serious need for wide receiver. It seems highly possible that Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr, and Rome Odunze come off the board in the first six to eight picks. This would leave Thomas as the highest-graded receiver for teams needing a receiver in the Bears at 9, Jets at 10, Colts at 15, Jaguars at 17, and Steelers at 20 among teams in the top 20.

The top projection for Thomas Jr thus far has been the Jaguars with the 17th overall pick however this report may mean Thomas has a team highly interested before hand. The interesting team to watch may be the New York Jets as the team is looking to draft a wide receiver with the tenth pick while the top three prospects will likely come off the board.

LSU Football: Three top ten picks in play for LSU

If Thomas comes off the board earlier than expected then LSU will be in play to have three players drafted in the top ten picks of the NFL Draft. This would mark the first time in program history where LSU had three top ten picks with the closest coming in the 2007 NFL Draft where LSU had two players picked in the top ten.
