College Football Host gives glowing review about LSU in Summer Camp
As Summer Camp continues throughout these next few weeks we'll all have a better idea about this LSU Football team including which players we can expect to start. Summer camp has been exciting as their is a ton to be excited about at wide receiver and defensive back two of the biggest question marks.
One of the experts who's seemingly high on what he's hearing out of LSU camp is CBS Sports host Josh Pate. On his Podcast and YouTube show The Late Kick with Josh Pate, Josh Pate spoke about what he's hearing about LSU early on which should leave Tigers fans excited.
He started talking about Wide Receiver Kyren Lacy who has impressed everyone as he looks like a true Biletnikoff Contender.
"Good buzz around Kyren Lacy right now. He's not an unknown commodity, he got over 550 yards 7 touchdowns last year. But, when you've got Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr exiting for the NFL, when you've got 2,700 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns last year you need studs. Kyren Lacy can be that 6"2 about 215 (pounds) he's had albeit a short camp so far he's had a really good camp. I think hes locked in."

Pate then spoke on LSU's defensive back room which has been a serious concern throughout the off-season after LSU's defensive struggles submarined their 2023 season.
"The DBs will be a position to focus on this week because this week is when they put on pads. They've had some interesting rotations looking at Sage Ryan for example running the corner position not where I thought I'd see him running at LSU when he committed."

Finally Josh Pate listed the running back position as a spot he's watching however he also explained why it'll end up being one of LSU's strengths in 2024.
"The other focus for me is at the running back spot. They feel quietly confident at LSU about running back. Now they've got monsters on their offensive line so I want you to just imagine with me week one against USC, playing in Vegas it's a Sunday Night game. Imagine the LSU running Back core is significantly more explosive and dependable than it has been, their offensive line is a bunch of maulers it is a matchup nightmare for USC to have that defensive front leaned on. USC's shot in that game is just to torch LSU's secondary. If they're slightly less torchable than they were a year ago you got a possible matchup advantage that goes to a significant matchup advantage for LSU."

Fall camp has answered a ton of questions for LSU Football
There were questions about LSU's receiver core after losing Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr, this camp Kyren Lacy has calmed the nerves. There were questions about running back where LSU lost Jayden Daniels and Logan Diggs the leading duo, Kaleb Jackson has eliminated doubts. The defensive back room has taken a big step forward, as Ashton Stamps looks like a true top cornerback. We'll have to wait until week one to have our nerves fully calmed but, through camp thus far LSU is reducing alot of the doubts.
