In the state of Louisiana, it will be hard to find a player nearly as beloved as Drew Brees is by the Saints faithful. From 2006-2020, Brees took the Saints from a laughingstock a constant threat to win the Super Bowl every year winning the Saints its only title in Super Bowl XLIV while he was robbed of the chance to play for another in the 2018 season.

In the world of college football we all start to feel old as we see the sons of Marvin Harrison, Frank Gore, Deion Sanders, and Jason Taylor making massive plays on Saturdays. There's one way the Brees name could grow in New Orleans lure and that's if Drew Brees' son suits up for the LSU Tigers.

While speaking on what it means to be inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame, Brees reflected on his time in New Orleans and hinted that he may not be the last Brees we see playing football in New Orleans.

Brees never clarified which son he was talking about but, all three are still some years away from entering into the world of recruiting. The biggest obstacle for the Brees boys may be wearing their father's number as we all expect to see Joe Burrow's number 9 retired alongside Billy Cannon's 20, Jerry Stovall's 21, and Tommy Casanova's 37.

This is all too far down the line to even think about but, it would be incredible to see another Brees at quarterback in the Bayou.
