We're just a few hours away from the kickoff of LSU Football versus South Carolina which will kick off LSU's SEC slate while the Gamecocks are seeking a second win in the SEC. One of the biggest storylines for LSU Football these past few weeks has been injuries as the Tigers have been banged up since the Summer. This week won't be any different as LSU's injury report is littered with some of the team's biggest contributors.

LSU Injuries

  • Jacobian Guillory - Out
  • John Emery Jr - Out
  • Princeton Malbrue -Out
  • Kobe Roberts - Out
  • Jordan Allen - Out
  • Jake Ibieta - Out
  • Da'Shawn Womack - Out
  • Chris Hilton Jr - Out
  • Zy Alexander - Probable
  • West Weeks - Questionable

South Carolina Gamecocks

  • Emory Floyd - Out
  • Jakai Moore - Out
  • Andrew Colasurdo - Out
  • Trovon Baugh - Probable
  • Gage Larvadain - Probable

The list on the LSU side of this game is ridiculous, as the Tigers can't shake the injury bug this season. It's starting to get crazy that the LSU Football team hasn't gotten Chris Hilton Jr back yet as he was seemingly close to playing against the USC Trojans. Jordan Allen had a great first game but, missed time against Nicholls State and will likely be replaced by Sage Ryan. Da'Shawn Womack likely could've seen some time today against a run heavy South Carolina team but, he'll miss the game.

The offense will have to win this game

Between the positional changes all over the defense and the injuries on that side of the football, it's hard to predict what type of performance you'll see. Chris Hilton Jr missing the game hurts LSU but, Aaron Anderson and Zavion Thomas have given the Tigers impressive performances in his absence. The offensive line will determine this game and if they can create running lanes while keeping Garrett Nussmeier up right, the Tigers will dominate.
