Five LSU Football Players make On3's Top 100 for 2024

After losing six starters to the NFL Draft it would be easy to assume that LSU may regress in 2024 but, the Tigers are set for another solid season. The team returns plenty of talent to pair with massive additions making it possible that this season goes better than 2023 did. If the LSU Football team is going to take a jump into College Football Playoff contention it will be due to massive contributions from these five LSU Tigers who were named as members of On3's top 100 players for 2024.

5. Will Campbell - Offensive Tackle

While ranking Will Campbell as the fifth-best player in College Football is a compliment, On3 has given Campbell a chip on his shoulder naming Kelvin Banks the top tackle in college football. In College Football, there's no offensive lineman as well-rounded as Will Campbell. Although Campbell was just a sophomore if he was able to enter the NFL Draft, he'd likely be the second offensive tackle off the board.

The LSU Offensive line will be the nation's top unit in 2024 and it all starts with the play of Will Campbell. He'll be responsible for protecting the blindside of first-time starter Garrett Nussmeier, and with Nussmeier being a pocket passer the team will need to give him some extra time. If Campbell plays as well as he has his entire career, he'll have a chance to be selected as high as first overall in next year's NFL Draft.
