17. Harold Perkins - Linebacker

While Campbell could end the season as the best offensive player in college football, Harold Perkins will have every chance to do the same on the defensive side of the football. Perkins had what many considered a down year as he made the transition to linebacker but, learning a new position played a part in Perkins lower output.

In year two at linebacker, it's easy to believe that Harold Perkins will be just as impactful as he was as a true freshman and possibly even more effective. Blake Baker's defense will allow Perkins to excel at linebacker giving him the ability to impact the game in ways he couldn't under Matt House. If the LSU defense is going to bounce back in 2024 it all starts with Harold Perkins becoming a game-wrecker once again.

63. Emery Jones - Offensive Tackle

The LSU offensive line will be the front-runner for the Joe Moore Award in part thanks to the bookends of the offensive line in Will Campbell and Emery Jones. As opposing defenses send their top pass rushers to face Jones instead of Will Campbell, Emery Jones continues to look impressive as he's shutdown Elite talents like Will Anderson and Dallas Turner.

The top priority heading into the fall is making sure that Jones is healthy and ready to go as he missed a decent chunk of the Spring with an injury. The LSU offensive line returns four of it's five starters giving the group a chance to be one of the best offensive lines in school history.
