82. Garrett Nussmeier - Quarterback

It says a lot about Garrett Nussmeier's talent that he's ranked within the top 100 players for 2024. It's rare to see a player stick around learning the ropes like Nussmeier has without transferring but, it sets LSU nicely for the 2024 season. By staying at LSU, Nussmeier has gotten to attempt 219 passes completing 129 of them for 1,720 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The LSU offense will need a dominant season from Nussmeier in order to compete for a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Tigers lose the dynamic ability of Jayden Daniels and the offense will now rely heavily on the passing attack losing Daniels's rushing game. After adding two talented transfer wide receivers to replace Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr the offense should once again be explosive led by the arm of Nussmeier.

90. CJ Daniels - Wide Receiver

The Liberty Flames were one of the best stories in College Football last season making their first New Year's Six bowl in school history in part due to the play of CJ Daniels. The LSU Tigers are getting a receiver that recorded 55 catches for 1,067 yards and 10 touchdowns showing his ability against elite talent by catching 8 passes for 79 yards against Oregon.

After losing Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr, Daniels will be tasked with being one of the team's top wide receivers alongside Kyren Lacy. The Liberty transfer is a great route runner while also impressing on contested catches. If Daniels can carry his ability over to the SEC, the passing attack will have the chance of being nearly as dominant as they were in 2024.
