The LSU Football team is currently dominating the South Alabama Jaguars as the Tigers lead 35-3. Given that the LSU Football team is ahead by a few scores, we will likely see a ton of the backups and underclassmen in the second half of this game. We'll likely see a few drives from the starters after the half since the bye week is next week but, LSU should get these five players a ton of looks in the second half.

Rickie Collins - Quarterback

The Tigers have already gotten their backup quarterback some game experience when Collins filled in for Garrett Nussmeier while he was injured against Nicholls State. Given how this team's success will come from fielding an explosive offense, LSU should continue to get Collins game reps. If Garrett Nussmeier were to go down, this team would be in trouble but, getting Collins more comfortable would go a long way.

Trey'Dez Green - Tight End

All Summer we heard about how great Trey'Dez Green was to the point that we expected LSU to run a ton of two and three tight end sets. To this point, Joe Sloan hasn't involved the true freshman in the offense as much as you'd expect. Given that the Tigers are coasting in this game, we should see the Tigers get the true freshman involved often this way they can start to use him in more goal-line packages.

The entire backup offensive line

Given that LSU will lose a ton of its starting offensive line this offseason to the NFL Draft, it would greatly benefit the Tigers to get their backup offensive line game experience given that most of the group is freshmen. The last thing LSU will want to do is throw an inexperienced freshman into his first college football game against an SEC opponent so getting some game film on this group would be massive.

Xavier Atkins - Linebacker

When Harold Perkins Jr was lost for the season, the player Brian Kelly named as the linebacker that would be activated was true freshman Xavier Atkins. The best way to get Atkins caught up would be to get him to get him game experience. The Tigers signed Atkins as a three-star recruit but, since arriving in Baton Rouge he's impressed the staff.

Ju'Juan Johnson - Running Back

The true freshman Caden Durham has dominated for LSU this game and given how important he'll be for this team down the stretch, the Tigers would be smart to save his legs. The perfect player to get involved in the second half is true freshman Ju'Juan Johnson. Since transitioning from Safety to running back, Johnson has impressed as a receiver but, LSU should try to get him reps as a runner.
