The College Football season is about four months away with rosters nearly set for the 2024 season as the transfer portal is almost closed. CBS Sports released it's top 100 players list for the 2024 season with four LSU Tigers making the list. There were certainly a few players snubbed from the list for LSU but, few teams surpassed LSU's mark with four of the top 100 players.

The most important LSU Tiger ranks as the top offensive lineman in the country here as Will Campbell comes in ranked at sixth. Campbell was dominant in 2023, in 491 pass-blocking snaps he allowed no sacks while achieving an 84.9 PFF run blocking grade. Over his 1,687 career pass-blocking snaps Campbell has allowed just two sacks a truly incredible mark.

As the LSU Tigers transition from Jayden Daniels to Garrett Nussmeier the pass protection will be vital. Campbell will be tasked with protecting Nussmeier's blindside while the first-time starter gets his feet wet as a starter. The LSU offensive line will be an early favorite for the Joe Moore Award and it all starts with talented tackle Will Campbell.

While the 2025 NFL Draft is a year away, Will Campbell will have an opportunity to be the first non-quarterback selected in the draft with an outside chance at being the first overall pick. If the LSU Tigers offense is going to be as explosive as it was in 2023, the team will need Campbell and the offensive line to keep Garrett Nussmeier clean.
