Four LSU Tigers make the CBS Top 100 Players for 2024
During his freshman season, Mason Taylor looked like a potential game-wrecker at tight end catching the game-winning pass against Alabama. Taylor finished his freshman year with 38 catches for 414 yards and three touchdowns. He saw a dip in production his Sophomore year with 36 catches for 48 yards and one touchdown.
If the LSU football team is going to have anyone breakout in 2024, Mason Taylor is an incredible candidate. After the departures of Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr, Taylor should see a massive jump in production as the offense will need to replace 157 catches.
Mason Taylor showed a rapport with Garrett Nussmeier in the ReliaQuest Bowl catching seven passes for 88 yards. If Mason Taylor can breakout in 2024 it'll give the offense another receiving threat alongside Kyren Lacy while the newcomers look to prove themselves.
