Four LSU Tigers make the CBS Top 100 Players for 2024

The LSU Tigers will enter the 2024 season with four of the top players in college football according to CBS.

While the LSU Tigers have the top left tackle in college football in Will Campbell, right tackle Emery Jones Jr is certainly the nation's top right tackle while he may be the top tackle overall. In 2023, Jones allowed 3 sacks and 19 pressures over eleven games.

What stands out about Jones is his blend of incredible footwork paired with his raw power. The season of Jones Jr was impressive considering that the opposing team's top pass rushers targeted Jones Jr as opposed to testing Will Campbell.

The combination of Campbell and Jones Jr will do for Garrett Nussmeier what it did for Jayden Daniels providing the quarterback with ample amounts of time to find the open receivers. The LSU Offense will sport one of the best offensive lines possibly ever while the group will certainly be the best in the country.
