Heading into this weekends matchup against LSU, all of the talk at wide receiver was around Chris Hilton Jr who was making his debut and the players who have stood out like Kyren Lacy, CJ Daniels, and Aaron Anderson.

A receiver that had a solid Spring and Summer was Kyle Parker and he was so impressive that he started the opening game against USC as the Tigers were without Chris Hilton Jr. We only saw parker for one drive as he suffered a UCL injury on his first catch of the season.

Well Kyle Parker got onto the field against UCLA and he proved he belongs on the field more often for the LSU Football team. On second and six from just across mid-field, Garrett Nussmeier uncorked the perfect pass to Kyle Parker who made a great catch. The catch was impressive but what was more impressive was the fight that Parker showed to find the endzone as UCLA's cornerback was draped all over him.

The Tiger's offense has needed to be perfect as the defense is off to a shaky start allowing the Bruins to pick up chunk play after chunk play.

Still some sloppy play by the LSU Tigers

While everyone hoped that the LSU Football team would play a complete game today, that clearly hasn't been the case. The defense has been gashed on multiple plays of twenty yards or more allowing UCLA's offense to look better than it did versus Indiana. The offense has taken some penalties and has had to burn two timeouts as to avoid delay of game penalties. This team needs to start showing it can put it all together and fast as Ole Miss is lurking on the schedule.
