Series History
The LSU Football team has dominated the series against the Gamecocks with a record of 19-2-1. The Tigers have won the last seven matchups with the latest game coming in the Covid-19 shortened 2020 season where LSU won 52-24. The last time the Gamecocks won was in 1994 while they did earn a draw in 1995.
College Gameday curse
We're only two weeks into the College Football season but, there's an interesting trend to keep an eye on. In Week one, College Gameday took the trip to College Station and the Texas A&M Aggies lost. In week two, the host fell again as Michigan was dominated by Texas. In an even smaller sample size, the winner of week one's College Gameday Game lost in week two so keep an eye on Texas as they host UTSA to see if this continues.
