One of the coolest things we see in College and Professional sports is when the son of a former athlete makes their way onto the big stage. It was awesome when we saw the Griffey's patrolling the outfield in Seattle, Deion coaching his sons at Colorado is wholesome, and the Manning's dominated the headlines in their college and NFL Careers.

We have one of those cases on the LSU Football team as Mason Taylor has been a massive piece of the LSU Football team like his dad Jason was for many years in the NFL and at Akron. This morning on ESPN's SEC Nation show, they reflected on how Mason went from the three year old in Jason Taylor's day of the life feature to one of the Nation's best Tight Ends.

It was awesome to hear from Jason Taylor on Mason's incredible game as a true freshman against Alabama when the Tigers upset the Tide on a two-point conversion to Mason in overtime. We also got an awesome look into what happened before that play as the Tigers knew they were going to the true freshman and Malik Nabers encouraged him before the play.

The feature gave us an incredible look into the bond between Mason and Jason, especially all of the support Jason has given his son and how much pride he has in Mason. The next step in Mason's path in following in Jason's footsteps is being drafted into the NFL, and it would be incredible if the Dolphins chose to pick a tight end.
