When the Washington Commanders drafted Jayden Daniels second overall, they were hoping he'd be a good player but, they never could've imagined he'd be this good. The Commanders are now 3-1 sitting a top the NFC East and it can be attributed to the unreal play from Jayden Daniels. All of the tropes about how a quarterback is best suited by sitting behind a proven veteran are being quickly dispelled by Jayden Daniels.

Through four games, Daniels has passed for 897 yards with three touchdowns and just one interception. As a runner, he's been dominant rushing for 218 yards and four touchdowns which has helped keep the Commanders offense off the field.

In two of Daniels' four games, the Commanders' offense has been so good that they haven't punted or turned the ball over.

Jayden Daniels' 82.1% completion percentage most in a four-game span by any quarterback ever in NFL history, not the best for a rookie but, the best for any quarterback ever. The next closest span is from Tom Brady yet, it's not that close as Brady completed 79.2% of his passes in that span.

Jayden Daniels should have been in consideration as the Number One pick

The entire draft process, Jayden Daniels was extremely disrespected as no one even put him in the same conversation as Caleb Williams. Last season, CJ Stroud had an incredible year and even he wasn't as good as Daniels has been this year. While Caleb Williams still may end up being the quarterback everyone hoped he would, it's becoming clear that Jayden Daniels is the higher upside superstar. It has become an incredible turn that LSU was always a quarterback away and now they may have two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
