Jayden Daniels is dealing while Malik Nabers hits his groove with Daniel Jones
We get a showdown of two of the most exciting LSU Tigers of all time as the Washington Commanders and Jayden Daniels take on the New York Giants and Malik Nabers. Both teams were looking to bounce back after losses last week and thus far both offenses have looked impressive in part due to how impressive Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers have looked.
The Washington Commanders' offense looks transformed with Jayden Daniels under center as he's making the most out of a terrible offensive line. Daniels heads to the half completing 11 of 13 attempts for 87 yards while rushing 6 times for 31 yards.
Daniel's ability to extend plays with his legs has been massive as he's eluded multiple sacks on key third downs to help the Commanders in scoring points. For a moment things were scary as Jayden was down on the field calling for trainers after an awkward tackle however, he only missed one play.
The Commanders need to do a better job of converting in the red zone as they've gotten to the red zone on every possession yet, they've kicked three field goals.
On the other side of this matchup, LSU's other impressive rookie Malik Nabers is having a solid showing as well. Nabers is leading the New York Giants with 5 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown despite missing a few plays to get checked for a concussion.
It's early but, this has been a solid week for anyone who has LSU Football players on their fantasy teams as Nabers and Daniels have had impressive performances, Justin Jefferson scored a 97 yard touchdown, and Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase will kick off later today.
