Through two weeks of the NFL season, one of the biggest storylines has been the struggles of the Cincinnati Bengals. This offseason, Chase held out of camp as he awaited a new contract which never came. In Week One, Burrow and the Bengals clearly weren't on the same page likely due to the Chase holdout and the lack of reps in camp.

In Week Two, the Bengals lost again, and Ja'Marr Chase was clearly frustrated with his usage as he only had ten catches for 97 yards through two games.

Many analysts were pointing to Joe Burrow's wrist injury as the reason that he wasn't targeting Chase on deep routes as he had been in the past. This theory was fueled by Joe Burrow not being able to throw every day in camp while others looked at a video of Burrow picking up a water bottle funny as asign that he couldn't throw the deep ball.

Tonight as the Bengals face the Commanders in a Monday Night Football game tailor-made for LSU fans, Burrow erased all doubts about his health while targeting his LSU teammate Ja'Marr Chase dropping a 41-yard dime to Ja'Marr Chase.

The throw and catch was a milestone moment for both Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase as it was Burrow's 100th passing touchdown and Chase's 30th receiving touchdown in their young careers.
