When you look through the LSU record books, you'll see wins over SEC mainstays such as Alabama, Tennessee, and Arkansas. You'll also find some wins over teams LSU has played a ton like Tulane, Miami, Rice, and Louisana-Lafeyette. There are even schools you likely don't even remember like Haskell Indian Nations, Havana University, Dakota Wesleyan, and Sewanee among other schools.

Perhaps the weirdest win you'll find in LSU's record book came against a team that LSU fans are the most familiar with.

In 1925, LSU started the season 2-0 with wins over Louisiana Normal (now known as Northwestern State) and Southwestern Louisiana (now known is UL Lafayette). But, after losing to Alabama 42-0, the Tigers turned to a familiar face to get things back on track.

The Tigers would face off against the LSU Freshmen in a game that still counts in LSU's varsity records. The issue was that LSU's varsity squad hardly pulled out a victory over the freshmen team winning 6-0.

The lone LSU score came in the fourth quarter after the freshmen muffed a punt which was recovered on the 11 yard line. On fourth down, the Tigers did complete a pass for a touchdown which gave the team the win.

The win boosted LSU to a 3-1 record before they'd finish the season 5-3-1 losing all three rivalry games. Given that we're appraoching the 100 year anniversary of this game, it would be pretty cool if LSU did it again in some way. If you think the Tigers were wrong fro counting this as a game look at who other schools have beaten in games.
