This off-season in the NFL, two LSU Football alumni have dominated the headlines as Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase await contract extensions. The pair of National Champions have held out of Spring Workouts awaiting new contracts as potential trade chatter began.

Well the Minnesota Vikings and their fans no longer need to worry about losing Justin Jefferson.

According to Adam Schefter, Justin Jefferson has signed a four year contract worth $140 million dollars with $110 million guaranteed. upon signing, Justin Jefferson receives $88 million dollars the most ever at signing for a non-quarterback. The deal also gives Justin Jefferson the largest non-QB contract in NFL history.

After parting ways with franchise icons Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook over the past two seasons, this deal makes Justin Jefferson the face of the Vikings franchise. Jefferson will become the top receiver for NFL Draft pick JJ McCarthy as he begins his NFL Career.

This news is also massive for the LSU Football program and it's recruiting efforts.
