While the LSU Baseball fans are the saddest about the team not making it to Super Regionals there may be two parties more upset than LSU Fans. Those two parties would be ESPN and Rocco's bar in Omaha.

For ESPN, the LSU Tigers' run to the Regional Championship helped ESPN set viewership records for the Regional Round. The Tigers matchups against North Carolina were the two most watched games of the Regional Round with Game 7 bringing in 964,000 viewers and Game 4 bringing in 756,000 viewers. This is incredibly impressive given how many fans showed up in Chapel Hill and the fact that the games were on ESPN2 and ESPN+. The Tigers also had the fourth most watched game of the round against Wofford showing it was the Tigers fans rather than North Carolina's.

The other party that may be more upset about LSU missing out on Omaha is Rocco's bar in Omaha. Any LSU fan that's been to Omaha has likely gone to Rocco's bar as their Jello Shot Challenge has become a must follow on the internet. During last seasons Championship season, LSU fans dominated the challenge buying 68,888 shots while the next closest school Wake Forest had their fans buy just 7,622 shots.

The proceeds from the challenge are donated to Food Banks in the area of each of the eight Omaha participants making the challenge all for a great cause. LSU fans helped make a massive donation as they spent $340,000 on shots last year.

LSU Baseball is a serious draw

While some schools only care about Football and Basketball at LSU the fans show up for every sport, especially baseball. The fans that have since moved on from Baton Rouge still show their support tuning in on TV as LSU set records in the SEC Tournament and at Regionals. If you're a recruit that wants to play in front of a passionate fan base then LSU clearly should be at the top of the list.
