While the main focus this week for LSU Baseball is seeing where key pieces like Tommy White, Gage Jump, and Luke Holman Jay Johnson also has some maneuvering to do with this roster. Jay Johnson has made great progress early on getting projected first-round pick William Schmidt and early day two pick Derek Curiel to pull their names out of the MLB Draft in favor of attending LSU.

The LSU Baseball team got another massive commitment to pull his name out of the MLB Draft as Cade Arrambide has announced he'll attend LSU.

"Hey William Schmidt, heard you want a Natty? I'm In."

Cade Arrambide

This is a massive announcement for LSU Baseball as Arrambide was ranked by MLB.com as the top High School catcher in the MLB Draft. According to Perfect Game, LSU Baseball has now had three of the fifteen highest-ranked draft prospects pull their names out of the MLB Draft to attend LSU.

The LSU Baseball team has a few names they'll need to watch on the second day of the draft in order to get some of the best players onto campus. Transfer portal additions Chris Stanfield and Luke Hayden should hear their names announced while top commits Michael Ryan, Kale Fountain, Maverick Rizy, and Justin Loer are the names to watch.

Jay Johnson is going scorched earth for the LSU Baseball team

After the LSU Baseball team struggled for the early part of the season, Jay Johnson has gone all in on building a winner. Thus far, Jay Johnson has dominated the transfer portal landing the Nation's best transfer class while he's going to get the best freshman class on campus as well. This LSU Baseball team could get Jared Jones and Griffin Herring back on campus which would make the Tigers the early favorite to win the National Championship.
