The LSU Basketball team is fresh off of a solid season on the recruiting trail landing the Nation's 13th-ranked recruiting class with three top-75 recruits. To this point, the LSU Basketball team hasn't landed any commitments but, that may change in the near future. The LSU Basketball team has landed inside of several top recruits "finalists" groups with a few they feel great about.

Earlier this week, the LSU Basketball program landed inside the top six for top fifty recruit Nyk Lewis while on Thursday night, LSU landed in the top seven for top 50 recruit King Grace.

24/7 Sports ranks King Grace as the 41st-ranked player in the class and as the Nation's eighth-ranked point guard.

The Tigers have made a push late getting Grace on campus in the end of June after initially offering the 2025 recruit in 2022. The Tigers and the SMU Mustangs are seemingly in a head-to-head battle for the Dallas native. The On3 recruiting prediction machine gives the LSU Tigers a 55% chance of landing Grace while SMU is behind LSU at 32.6%. Grace expects to make an official visit in September so Matt McMahon and his staff will push to get him on campus one more time.

New Orleans Native remains LSU's Top Priority

If the LSU Tigers are going to land an incredible recruiting class, it starts with landing Chris Cenac. The New Orleans native now plays for Link Academy in Missouri and is ranked as a five star recruit as the 14th best player in the country and the fifth ranked Power Forward.
