After facing South Alabama today, LSU Football will go into a bye week to prepare for a massive clash against the Ole Miss Rebels. The Rebels are currently in a tight game against Kentucky, likely because they played four teams that are far inferior to any team they'll face in SEC play. When you think of SEC matchups, you think of tough gritty football, what you don't envision is players playing incredibly soft.

Unfortunately, the Ole Miss Rebels really don't care about perception or what anyone thinks as they continue to use one of the most ridiculous tricks in the book.

Against Kentucky today, Ole Miss put their shady tactic of faking injuries on full display for everyone in the country to notice. As Ole Miss was struggling to get set up, Jaxson Dart signals to his running back to go down which in turn saved the Rebels from burning a timeout.

Given the fact that this tactic is gaining national attention after this game, we should see the SEC take action but, there likely isn't much that can be done.

When the Rebels come to Tiger Stadium in two weeks, if this tactic is employed, Tiger Stadium should explode as its ridiculous that the Rebels are getting away with this shady tactic. There are situations where you can get away with it but, Lane Kiffin is a hypocrite because he himself went after a player for doing the same thing,
