LSU Football in the NFL: Preseason Week Two 2024
Lions Vs Chiefs
The Chiefs kept their starting running backs out of the game meaning we didn't get to see Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The Chiefs had a standout performance from Neil Farrell who recorded three tackles and half of a sack. For the Lions, Mekhi Wingo recorded one tackle.
Vikings Vs Browns
The real show was this week at joint practices where Justin Jefferson and Grant Delpit were inseparable. The majority of the teams' starters didn't play given the joint practices but, there were a few Tigers in action. Cade York nailed his only field goal from 33 yards while also nailing his lone extra-point try. For the Vikings, Jay Ward had a strong day with 5 tackles as he fights to make the roster.
Seahawks Vs Titans
The biggest news came from off the field as Arden Key had his six-game suspension overturned helping the Titans while Key will have a better chance at making a team. Most of the veterans didn't play so we hope to see Jamal Adams in the final week of the preseason.
Commanders Vs Dolphins
It was another strong week for Jayden Daniels even though he didn't find the endzone. Daniels finished the day 10 for 12 passing for 78 yards while rushing for 13 yards on two carries. On the Dolphins side, Duke Riley recorded one tackle while Odell Beckham Jr is still working back from injury.
Bills Vs Steelers
This game was a matchup between great LSU linebackers as Deion Jones dueled with Patrick Queen. Jones finished the game with five tackles while Queen finished with a pair of tackles. The offenses struggled mightily in this game but, JaRay Jenkins did haul in one catch for five yards. We're still begging the Steelers to give Tory Carter some carries as he looks to make the team.
