Last weekend, the LSU Football team broke typical tradition, wearing their Purple Jerseys with the gold pants and gold helmets. We've all grown accustomed to seeing LSU at home in their Gold Helmets, White Jerseys, and their gold pants. This weekend, LSU will break tradition again as they'll return to the white uniforms but, with the white pants and gold helmets.

It is seemingly a week too late to wear the white uniforms as the Tigers would've preferred them last weekend when it was 130 degrees in the boxes on the sideline.

Personally, I'm a traditionalist and the Tigers should always wear their White Jerseys and Gold Pants and helmets as is tradition. Given that the LSU Football team is wearing all white except their helmets, they should have worn their white helmets as well like they did last season against Texas A&M.

The fanbase is on the side of staying traditional as well based on the responses to the uniform release twete and based on what we saw when LSU wore their purple jersey's last weekend. LSU had a tradition of wearing Purple against Non-SEC opponents at home in the past and sticking with that tradition would've been acceptable but, it seems like LSU is going more toward the Oregon route of wearing a new set every weekend.
