The LSU Football game is once again being attacked by the injury bug during this game against UCLA. There was already a massive injury scare as Emery Jones Jr went down with an ankle injury but, he returned to play after being retaped.

On defense, the LSU Football team just suffered what appears to be a more serious injury to one of its starters. Zy Alexander took a massive hit and was down on the sideline after a second quarter play. The Tigers' medical staff brought Alexander into the medical tent but, things appear to be much worse as he's since headed into the locker room.

Losing Zy Alexander for the game or even longer would be a massive blow for the LSU Football team on defense. Alexander just returned two weeks ago against Nicholls State and since returning, has been one of LSU's best players intercepting a LaNorris Sellers pass last weekend.

JK Johnson has stepped in playing opposite of Ashton Stamps in the meantime while Alexander continues to be looked at. If Johnson doesn't play well or if LSU suffers another injury, the next man up would either be PJ Woodland or Sage Ryan who has recently bumped back to safety.

The good news for the defense is that Bradyn Swinson is balling out after his three-sack game last weekend with two sacks and a forced fumble thus far in this game.
