LSU Football’s clash against Ole Miss finally has a kickoff time
The LSU Football team is on a bye week this weekend as they prepare for one of their toughest games of the season against Ole Miss. The Rebels won’t get a break before the game as they’ll face off against a tough South Carolina team after a devastating loss to Kentucky.
This game last season was an instant classic as Ole Miss beat LSU in a game where neither defense could make a stop. Both teams made a ton of moves to improve their defenses yet, it may be the same exact game this season.
The clash now finally has a kickoff time as we were all waiting to see whether this game would be a night game or a day game. The good news for LSU is that this game will be played under the lights of Tiger Stadium.
The game is at night and rightfully so as it’ll be one of the best games of the season and one of the best games of the day.
This game will have massive playoff implications as LSU and Ole Miss both have a loss and Ole Miss could easily have a second after it’s game against South Carolina. The winning team in this game will pick up their biggest win of the season while the loser may be out of the College Football Playoff race.
The game being featured on ABC boxes very well for College Gameday potentially making its return to Baton Rouge.
This is a must win game for Brian Kelly
Look, LSU winning its last four games has been great as the Tigers have started to show growth. The wins however were wins LSU should pick up every season and haven’t truly proven anything about this team. Brian Kelly now faces a team that is on LSU’s level and he’ll need to prove he’s still the man for this job by picking up a massive win.
