LSU Football's EA College Football 25 Roster Just Got a Massive Boost

Every College Football fan in the world is counting down the days until they can play EA Sports College Football 25. The game returns after being discontinued in 2014 but, with NIL the game once again became a possibility for College Football Fans. The players had to opt into the game and in return will receive $600 and a free copy of the game.

The most notable LSU Football player to opt out of the game was wide receiver Kyren Lacy. In total LSU had 38 players who didn't opt into the game however, 15 are incoming freshmen who aren't in campus yet, and will likely join the game. The news was a massive disappointment to LSU fans as they wanted to play with the team's most explosive weapon.

LSU Fans however got some exciting news when Kyren Lacy tweeted that he was changing his mind:

Everyone was then awaiting word from EA Sports as they hoped that Lacy would be on LSU's roster when the game was released. The waiting ended rather quickly as Lacy shared the news that he was officially in the game.

Now when LSU fans get their hands on EA College Football 25 they'll have Kyren Lacy on their roster rather than playing without him or having to create him.

When will EA College Football 25 Be Released?

The College Football video game will make it's return on July 19th for anyone who purchases the standard issue of the game for $69.99. If you order the Deluxe version for $99.99 or the MVP Bundle which is packaged with Madden 25 for $149.99 you'll be able to access the game on July 16th. The MVP Edition includes the Deluxe Versions of both EA College Football 25 and Madden 25 while giving users added perks in the Ultimate Team Mode.
