The College Football season officially kicks off this week as Florida State and Georgia Tech head to Dublin, Ireland to start the season. This week we've gotten a look at the official Preseason AP All-American teams along with All-American teams from the other major selectors.

On3 does an excellent job of covering all aspects of College Football from recruiting through the NFL and they've been releasing lists as well. This week, they unveiled their Preseason True Freshman All-American teams. The Tigers only had one player named to the team but, he may be the most exciting player on the LSU roster.

The Tigers landed Green as a Five-Star recruit ranked 31st in the country and as the top tight end in the class. Since Green's arrival on campus, all he's done is impress going from an alternate in the tight end room to a weapon that LSU will have to play as soon as week one.

The arrival of Green has LSU toying with which formations the Tigers will run this season offensively. Brian Kelly has already mentioned that LSU is going to use more 12 and 13 personnel this season as a way to get Green and Ka'Morreun Pimpton on the field alongside Mason Taylor. At 6"7 and 6"6, Green and Pimpton have proven they're matchup nightmares and possibly LSU's biggest weapons.

Green and the Tight Ends could be leaned on

While LSU has a ton of questions at wide receiver after Kyren Lacy, the team is rock solid at tight end. The Tigers have a dominant offensive line and adding three massive tight ends on the line could further help LSU with dominating the line of scrimmage. Loading up with 12 and 13 personnel will give LSU a massive advantage in the pass and rushing attack which could help Garrett Nussmeier in easing into the season.
