LSU Football wide receiver Malik Nabers drawing impressive NFL comparisons
While the majority of the NFL Draft's buzz was surrounding the quarterbacks at the top of the class and Marvin Harrison Jr the player that may be the best of them all is Malik Nabers. The LSU standout showed he was the best player on the field scouts still favored Marvin Harrison Jr however, the comparisons Nabers is drawing are impressive.
Former LSU Standout and ESPN analyst Booger McFarland said the following about Nabers:
"I think he's the best receiver in the draft. He's the most explosive guy in the draft, the fastest, they get a guy who has the potential to be a number one wide receiver. The closest thing to Tyreek Hill that we have seen in the National Football league since Tyreek came in."

An offensive assistant coach in the NFL told the Athletic the following about Nabers:
"It's Nabers and then there's a gap, He is the best wide receiver in the draft in a couple of years, maybe more. He is Tyreek Hill combined with both of those San Francisco Guys (Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk). He is so explosive. He has a second gear. He can stop on a dime. He breaks tackles. You can't jam him because he's just too quick and if you miss at all, he's going to out run you."
- NFL Assistant Coach
A scout told Dan Duggan of the Athletic the following:
"Nabers is the interesting one because he's so strong after the catch and he's so fast and so explosive. He's a dog that elevates your room. He's like Stefon Diggs."

An AFC Scout told Jori Epstein of Yahoo Sports the following:
"I gave him a better grade than Ja'Marr Chase. I think he's more competitive and tough and physical. You can have all the talent in the world: if you're not competing and showing it every snap, it doesn't matter."
- AFC Scout
NFL Teams will regret ever passing on Malik Nabers
The New York Giants will be looked at as one of the biggest winners of the NFL Draft when we look back on this first round. The Giants landed what may have been the best receiver prospect we've seen the past ten years but, he went second in this draft class because of his last name. If Nabers shared the name with an all-time NFL great he likely would've been viewed as leaps and bounds ahead of Marvin Harrison Jr. However, the Giants instead walk away like thieves landing quite possibly the best player in the draft in Malik Nabers.
