This entire season, the biggest story leading up to the game has been whether or not LSU will get one of its star receivers Chris Hilton Jr back or if he'd remain out. Chris Hilton was one of the starting receivers the entire Summer but, bone bruises in his foot have kept him out for the opening three games of the season.

The Tigers will get Chris Hilton Jr back this weekend as Brian Kelly announced that the veteran receiver will make his debut against UCLA.

Getting Chris Hilton back into the fold is going to be massive for this offense and for Joe Sloan as a play caller. The Tigers have faced packed boxes in the running game while the secondary has turned its attention towards taking away Kyren Lacy.

Doing both things is much more difficult with Chris Hilton on the field as teams have to account for his speed as he could score in a flash. His best game of the season last year came in the Reliaquest Bowl with Garrett Nussmeier at quarterback as he hauled in three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.

The offense is slowly putting the pieces together

Last weekend, the LSU Football team had its best game of the season running the football thanks to inserting Caden Durham into the lineup. This weekend, LSU should become more explosive in the passing attack with Chris Hilton in the fold. Getting our first glimpse at this offense with Hilton alongside Kyren Lacy, CJ Daniels, and Aaron Anderson should only excite everyone about the potential as this group continues to gel.
