The LSU Football team will have without question the biggest weekend of recruiting visits slated for this weekend's Bayou Splash event. This event has yielded commitments under Brian Kelly as the Tigers got commitments from Caden Durham and Dakorien Moore from the event last year. The event already had star power confirmed as two-sport star Jonah Williams is coming on Saturday.

The visitor schedule added arguably LSU's biggest target left on the board at this stage as Jaime Ffrench will be in Baton Rouge this weekend. Ffrench is a five-star receiver ranked in On3's Industry Rankings as the 18th-best player in the class and the fourth-ranked receiver. At one point, Ffrench was an Alabama commit, he was then leaning heavily towards Ohio State while he's now favorited to land at Texas. Ffrench will commit at the end of August so getting him back on campus one last time is massive for LSU.

The Tigers will also get safety Anquon Fegans onto campus Friday before he heads to Auburn for their Big Cat Weekend. He'll announce his commitment on Monday and LSU seemingly has some ground to make up prior to his commitment.

The 2026 class of recruits visiting this weekend is where you'll find the most star power. In-state star Jahkeem Stewart will visit this weekend, he's ranked as the top-rated recruit in the 2026 recruiting class and is seen as a candidate to reclassify into the 2025 recruiting class.

The Tigers will get one of the Nation's top offensive tackles in the 2026 class on campus, as well as Five-Star Jackson Cantwell, will make the trip to Baton Rouge. Cantwell ranks as the fourth-ranked recruit in the class and the second-ranked offensive tackle.

LSU going all out in its approach for the top recruiting class

This weekend LSU will truly flex all of its muscles on the recruiting trail with the hope of wrapping up a few of their five-star targets. The Tigers won't have Bryce Underwood on campus but, there will be plenty of star power nonetheless. Who's better to pitch a five-star like Jonah Williams than DJ Pickett? Who's better to pitch Jaime Ffrench than Harlem Berry and TaRon Francis who he'd play alongside? This weekend is shaping up to be a massive weekend for LSU and the results should be exciting.
