LSU Standout Malik Nabers was continuing his takeover of the NFL on Thursday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys before suffering a concussion. The injury came late in the fourth quarter on an attempt to pick up a fourth down as Malik Nabers almost made an incredible play on the sideline but, smashed his head off of the turf.

As Nabers disappeared into the locker room, everyone was praying that the Rookie Sensation was okay as the incident was scary. He finished the game with twelve catches for 115 yards once again leading the Giants and carrying this offense.

The NFL does have a great rule in place where players who suffer a concussion aren't allowed to speak to the media so we didn't get to hear from Nabers directly after the game although, Brian Burns did try his hardest to give the media a soundbite.

Not too long after the game and the post game press availability, Malik did share the news that he was okay on his Instagram story which allowed everyone to feel a little better about his health.

If Malik Nabers is going to play in the New York Giants' next game, he'll have some extra time to rest as the Giants won't play until next Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. We do hope that the Giants don't rush Nabers back or that he doesn't rush himself back as concussions are a scary injury to deal with as they carry long-term effects. This team has no chance at competing for a Super Bowl and a low chance at making the Playoffs so Nabers' long term health should be the priority.
