Malik Nabers and the New York Giants will take on the Dallas Cowboys tonight on Thursday Night Football. The Rookie Standout will look to get the Giants their first win against the Dallas Cowboys since December of 2020.

When Malik Nabers was drafted, he was asked which player he can't wait to match up against in the NFL. Nabers didn't play it coy, as he named Dallas Cowboys All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs.

After seeing the Rookie's quote, Trevon Diggs took to Twitter mentioning how the Cowboys have dominated the Giants over his career.

Nabers and Diggs continued to go back and forth on social media exchanging emojis but, Nabers's comments clearly bothered Trevon Diggs.

The teams now face off at 1-2 in a Divisional Game that could easily send the losing team down a rough path for the rest of the season. Given that it's expected to be a rainy game in East Rutherford, NJ we may not see the pair clash all that often.

When asked this week about his thoughts on getting his wish this week, Malik Nabers turned towards focusing on Thursday's game.

"I don't really want to talk about it. It's game time now."

Malik Nabers

The good news for Malik Nabers and the New York Giants is that Trevon Diggs had a pretty bad game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Expect a big game from Malik Nabers if the weather allows for passing

If this game doesn't turn into a sloppy rushing heavy game with the rain expected, we should see a massive game from Mailk Nabers. The Cowboys have kept Diggs on one side of the field and even if he does shadow Nabers, this is a matchup that Nabers can win. Brian Daboll has used a ton of pre-snap motion to get Malik Nabers open which will also allow Nabers the chance to get some open looks.
