The LSU Football program year in and year out puts some of the best talent into the NFL. The best players from the school have been typically first round picks that immediatley become superstars. Going under the radar is how impressive LSU's NFL talent has been outside of the first round as some Tigers have transformed their franchises after being taken after round one. Here are the Ten best non-First round picks from LSU since 2000:

10. DJ Chark - Wide Receiver

Just as he was at LSU, every year in the NFL DJ Chark has been an incredibly reliable wide receiver. The Jaguars took Chark in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft but, he didn't see the field much as a rookie. Then in 2019, Chark exploded onto the scene finishing the year with 73 catches for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns. Through six seasons in the NFL, Chark has caught 212 passes for 3,069 yards and 23 touchdowns while being named to one Pro-Bowl. We're all excited to see what Chark can do this season as he joins the Chargers after being plagued with poor quarterback play.

9. Brandon LaFell - Wide Receiver

Despite falling to the third round where the Carolina Panthers scooped him up, all Brandon LaFell ever was in the NFL was a steady receiver for any team he played for. While playing for the Carolina Panther LaFell became a very reliable slot receiver and an integral part of the offense. Signing with the New England Patriots was the best move of LaFell's career as he had an explosive 2014 season catching 74 passes for 953 yards and 7 touchdowns while helping the Patriots win Super Bowl XLIX. In Nine Seasons, LaFell totaled 406 catches for 5,398 yards and 31 touchdowns last playing for the Raiders in 2018.
