The College Football season kicks off today and ESPN's College Football Gameday made its return as well. On the desk this season is the one-time LSU Football hero and long-time enemy Nick Saban fresh off of retiring from coaching. One of the biggest what it's is the scenario where Saban stays at LSU rather than coaching in the NFL as the Tigers' would've been a dynasty while Alabama may still be burning through head coaches.

The Tigers are being predicted by many to finish in the 12 to 25 range which would put LSU just outside of the College Football Playoff. One of those experts is not Nick Saban, as he put the Tigers in his official College Football Playoff bracket.

We''ll never fully forgive Saban for leaving, or for beating the Tigers in the 2012 National Championship game but, he may have earned a Tiger stripe or two back today.

Nick Saban clearly sees what every LSU fan is seeing in this team's potential saying the following:

"LSU always has skill guts. They're talking about all the receivers they lost, you could shake a tree in Louisiana, and them guys would fall out."

LSU Football rooting guide in Week Zero

There are only four games taking place this week but, there are two games LSU fans should have a rooting interest in. The Florida State Seminoles are ranked ahead of the LSU Football team and after beating LSU twice these past two years, I'd enjoy seeing them lose. The second game isn't as high profile but, SMU takes on Nevada and the Wolfpack winning would certainly know the ACC down a peg.
