This weekend LSU will have a massive opportunity on the recruiting trail at the OT7 7on7 tournament. The newly formed "Fleaux" team will feature several top recruits and LSU commits while LSU alumni Ryan Clark will coach the team.

The roster features LSU Commits Bryce Underwood, Harlem Berry, Dakorien Moore, and TaRon Francis. Also on the roster are LSU targets Kaliq Lockett, James Simon, Shmar Akande, and Blaine Bradford.

This weekend will be massive for the LSU Football team as Bryce Underwood, Dakorien Moore, and Kaliq Lockett will all be together for the first time as LSU looks to reel in a commitment from Lockett while fending off Texas for Moore. If LSU can land both Moore and Lockett it would be a massive haul giving LSU the two highest ranked receivers in the class paired with the top running back and quarterback.

The Tigers will also have a chance to land James Simon the Nation's ninth-ranked running back out of Shreveport. LSU was once the apparent favorite to land Simon but, landing a commitment from JT Lindsey may have pulled the competition closer.

On the defensive side of the football 2026 target Shmar Akande will play cornerback for the team. Ryan Clark coaching the team may help LSU in landing the defensive back as he can share his experiences and thoughts on LSU.

Massive Weekend for Building Relationships

While 7 on 7 isn't a massive deal it's a very important in building relationships between recruits. A bond between players like Bryce Underwood and receivers Moore, Lockett, and Francis can solidify the group and land them all in Baton Rouge. It's significant that Ryan Clark is coaching the team as the group will have an LSU alumni that made it to the NFL building a mentorship that can help in their development while elevating LSU.
