The sheer mention of Pat McAfee's name is a divisive subject for College Football fans. The former All-Pro Punter turned sports media host has taken the world by storm as his podcast and YouTube show has become one of the top ESPN shows. McAfee has begun diving further into College Football and has become one of the key members of the College Football Gameday crew.

On the Pat McAfee show today, McAfee had country music star and Shreveport, LA native and LSU Alum Jordan Davis on the show where the pair dove into talking about LSU Football.

"I love Nussmeier, I love what I saw in the bowl game last year. I think the offensive line is old and seasoned. It feels good to have a coach that's running the program. Its a good change up from Orgeron I'll say that. He was fun to watch had a great year in 2019 but, Coach kelly has won me over. I was a little nervous at front but, now I feel good about him in Baton Rouge. Saturday Nights in Baton Rouge is special."

After talking about the program the duo jumped into verse singing along to Garth Brooks' Callin Baton Rouge.

It's time for Gameday to return to Baton Rouge

During the interview, Pat McAfee breifly mentioned that he hasn't been to Baton Rouge despite being a member of Gameday for years. The last time College Football Gameday took the trip to Baton Rouge was in 2019 which is in the distant past. The Tigers will have a few great games as candidates for Gameday when they host Alabama, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma.
