Predicting LSU Football's results week-by-week in 2024: LSU contends for the Playoffs

Week 7 - Away at Arkansas Razorbacks

The Razorbacks enter the season with low expectations as Sam Pittman has one of the hottest seats in College Football. This game has all of the feelings of a trap game especially if LSU beats Ole Miss but, the Tigers should win this game pretty easily.

Week 8 - Away at Texas A&M Aggies

This is one of the games flying under the radar on LSU's schedule in 2024. The Tigers always play tightly contested games with the Aggies and they should be a better-coached team with Mike Elko at the helm even if the talent level takes a dip. This will be a tight game but, LSU should pull it off but, don't be surprised when this is a one-possession game late.

Week 9 - Home Vs Alabama Crimson Tide

The Tigers finally no longer have to face Nick Saban but, the Tide will still be a tough out in 2024. The Tigers pulled it off in 2022 but, I think the Tigers drop this one at this point in the preseason. This is one of the tougher games to project with a new staff at Alabama and a new defensive staff at LSU but, if the Tigers defense is improved, I'll feel better about the Tigers leading up to the game.
