Predicting the Five Highest Rated LSU Tigers in NCAA Football 25
2. Harold Perkins - Linebacker - Rating: 94 Overall
If Perkins had stayed at edge rusher or had a more productive season in 2023, he would've been in the conversation to be a cover athlete or even to potentially be a 99 Overall player. In this year's video game, Perkins likely lands somewhere around the tenth highest-rated defender in the game however, he may be the most fun defensive player to use. The speed and talent of Perkins will make him incredible to use as a do-it-all all defender who can wreck any opponent's game. While Perkins may be better at edge rusher, he'll be more fun to play with at the linebacker position.
1. Will Campbell - Offensive Tackle - Rating: 97 Overall
While LSU fans and many NFL Draft analysts will argue that Will Campbell should be a 99 Overall that's typically not how the game operates. The highest-rated offensive tackle in NCAA 14 was Texas A&M left tackle Jake Matthews at a 96 Overall. The rating of a 97 overall will give Will Campbel the buzz of being the highest-rated tackle in forever while he'll easily be one of the top 10 players in the game. The LSU offensive line will give users plenty of time to run explosive plays similar to what we'll see in the upcoming 2024-25 season.
