After only hosting Dakorien Moore last weekend, the LSU Tigers will have a different type of recruiting weekend with plenty of talent coming to campus. The LSU Football team has lost two expected visitors for this weekend as Running Back Todd Robinson committed to Georgia and shut down his recruitment while offensive tackle/defensive tackle Carius Curne won't be visiting this weekend. If LSU is going to add to its second-ranked recruiting class it'll have to make up some ground this weekend.

A joint Brian Kelly and Jay Johnson Recruitment

This weekend the LSU Football team and Baseball team will have a massive recruitment together as Jonah Williams. The two-sport star is the Nation's top safety in the class and is ranked as the Nation's 11th best prospect in the class. What makes Williams such an interesting recruit is his prowess on the baseball field as one of the Nation's top recruits in both sports.

The biggest front-runner to land Jonah Williams is Oklahoma and they've had success with dual athletes before with Kyler Murray getting drafted in the first round of both sports. If Jonah Williams is looking for a program where he can win National Titles in both sports, then LSU is the school to attend. The Tigers will need to do a ton this weekend to move up Williams's board but, Corey Raymond has impressed this spring.

Landing a Second Wide Receiver Commitment

The LSU Tigers have gotten themselves in the running for three five-star receivers with Dakorien Moore, Jaime Ffrench, and Kaliq Lockett. The Tigers currently only hold one commitment from a receiver from in-state TaRon Francis.

This weekend the LSU Football team will look to land a second commitment this weekend as CJ Wiley and Naeshaun Montgomery come to town.

Wiley is an LSU legacy as his father Chuck was a two-time All-SEC defensive end at LSU from 1994-1997. The biggest issue for LSU in landing CJ is Georgia as the Tigers trail the in-state school. On the other hand, Naeshaun Montgomery called LSU one of his contenders last week but, the Tigers will have to overcome the in-state Florida schools. Montgomery may have earned some extra credit with the staff as he attended camp on Thursday.

It's unclear how hard the LSU Football team will push this weekend as Brian Kelly and his staff may feel very good about where they stand with the trio of five stars they've already hosted. Of the two visitors on campus this weekend LSU has to feel better about where they stand with Montgomery.
