Heading into 2024, one of the biggest questions with the LSU Football team is what Garrett Nussmeier will look like in his first full season as a starter. After Jayden Daniels' Heisman season, Garrett Nussmeier has massive shoes to fill in the offense. While Nussmeier takes a step up there are a few fresh faces in the depth chart behind Nussmeier to know. Here's a preview of the LSU Footballs\ quarterback room in 2024:

Garrett Nussmeier - Redshirt Junior

After signing with LSU in the Tigers 2021 Signing Class, it's finally time to see Garrett Nussmeier as the team's full time starting quarterback. In this era of college football, it comes as a shock to see a player as highly recruited as Nussmeier was starting for the first time as a Redshirt Junior but, his rare decision has the Tigers positioned very well heading into 2024.

While Nussmeier has never been the team's full-time starter, he's picked up plenty of experience over his three seasons in Baton Rouge. For his career, Nussmeier has completed 129 of his 219 pass attempts for 1,720 yards and 11 touchdowns with 6 interceptions. Nussmeier got to start in the Reliaquest Bowl where he won the MVP award after going 31-45 passing for 395 yards and 3 touchdowns with one interception.

While LSU is predicted to land outside the top ten entering the season, if Nussmeier proves to be a capable full time starter then LSU will find itself in playoff contention. Working in Nussmeier's favor is his offensive line as he'll get to play behind what may be the Nation's best offensive line. The coaching of Joe Sloan should help Nussmeier become one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC which should elevate LSU to a Playoff team.
