The College Football season is right around the corner and as we continue to get closer, we continue to see outlets ranking past seasons. The SEC Network has been running through the best players of the past decade in the conference. They recently ranked quarterbacks and LSU stood out in a massive way.

The selection of Joe Burrow as the greatest quarterback in the SEC since 2014 was an absolute no brainer. At LSU, Joe Burrow completed 68.5% of his passes throwing for 8,565 yards and 76 touchdowns with only 11 interceptions. Add in his 767 yards rushing with 12 touchdowns and one reception for 12 yards and his resume is even better. Burrow quarterbacked arguably the best team in College Football history and if this list expanded outside of the SEC he's likely still number one.

At number two, Jayden Daniels is a little bit of a surprise even to LSU Football fans. Daniels did win the Heisman, and he was an incredible player but, few would've guessed he'd beat out the quarterbacks with National Championships. His stats at LSU do back the argument up however, as he completed 70.2% of his passes for 6,725 yards and 57 touchdowns with just 7 interceptions. His rushing stats push him over the top with 2,019 yards and 21 touchdowns with a reception for 5 yards and a touchdown as well.

LSU Football slowly becoming "Quarterback U"

Schools like USC and Oklahoma that consider themselves the best at developing quarterbacks should be on the lookout because LSU is coming. The Tigers have taken two transfers and have made them Heisman winners and top NFL Draft picks over the past five seasons. This season the Tigers once again have a quarterback many are writing off in Garrett Nussmeier, and would anyone be shocked it LSU did it again? After Nussmeier, LSU has the Nation's top quarterback recruit in Bryce Underwood coming in to continue the incredible run at LSU.
