We're now through three weeks of the College Football season and it's becoming clearer with each game which teams are contenders and which teams are pretenders. This week wasn't the strongest weekend slate especially with some teams taking their first bye weeks of the season. Despite a lack of games, some players and programs came out of this weekend as massive winners while others have nothing to be proud of.

Winner: Cam Ward and Jalen Milroe's Heisman Campaigns

If you look at the Heisman contenders around the country, it was a shaky week as Carson Beck struggled, Quinn Ewers was injured, Jaxson Dart had a so-so game, and the best running backs struggled.

Then you look at what Jalen Milroe did against Wisconsin and have to think he's at or near the top of the Heisman race. Milroe passed for 196 yards and three touchdowns completing 12 of 17 attempts while rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Milroe will have his first crack at having a Heisman moment in two weeks when Alabama faces Georgia in Tuscaloosa.

Then there's America's darling Cam Ward who continues to dominate for the Miami Hurricanes. Granted, Ward faced Ball State but, he passed for 346 yards and five touchdowns completing 19 of 28 passing attempts. On the season, Ward has passed for 1,035 yards with 11 touchdowns while adding a touchdown rushing. As Miami continues their push for the ACC Championship, Ward will continue to have chances to have his Heisman moment.

Loser: Billy Napier

By the time you're reading this, it's more likely than not that Billy Napier is no longer the Head Coach of the Florida Gators. This week was poorly handled by Napier as he wouldn't commit to one quarterback a week after Freshman DJ Lagway looked incredibly impressive. On the field, Florida looked terrible digging themselves a 33-7 hole they'd never get out of. A few years ago Napier was seen as one of the up-and-coming names in College Football now, he'll find it hard to ever to get another Power Five Head Coaching job.
