The 5 Biggest Winners and Losers of Week Six in College Football: Upsets Everywhere
Winner: Indiana Hoosiers
If you look at the unbeaten teams in the Big Ten you'll see teams like Ohio State, Oregon, and Penn State all undefeated but, the team occupying first place is the Indiana Hoosiers. Indiana moved to 6-0 on Saturday and 3-0 in the Big Ten.
The biggest test for the Hoosiers is looming after this weekend's Bye Week in the Nebraska Cornhuskers. If Indiana can knock off Nebraska, they'll put themselves in a great place to compete for the College Football Playoff. A ton of credit needs to be given to Curt Cignetti as he has this team playing incredible football after they finished just 3-9 last season.
Loser: Sonny Dykes
The further we get from TCU's appearance in the College Football National Championship game, the more shocking it is that Sonny Dykes ever coached a team to that point. The Horned Frogs hosted a Houston team that has struggled all season in Houston and it was never close. The Cougars dominated TCU from start to finish and if you had to use one word to describe TCU its sloppy.
After being shut out the last two weeks, Houston scored 30 points on TCU while it feels like they left a few points on the field. On offense, Josh Hoover threw a pair of interceptions while losing a fumble accounting for three of TCU's four turnovers. This season could quickly get out of hand for TCU and the way Dykes has lost these games is alarming.
