We're just eleven days away from the kickoff of LSU Football's 2024 season and the excitement is building every day that we get closer. The Tigers and the Trojans have already sold out Allegiant Stadium and the Tigers fans will look to continue their streak of running stadiums out of alcohol.

The season opener is unique as the LSU Football team will play a standalone game on Sunday Night with all of America watching. The landscape has changed for many of the media companies which led to questions over who would be on the call for the massive matchup. There's no more speculation as ESPN and ABC announced that LSU vs USC will get their A-Team as Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe will be the crew covering the game.

As we get closer to the game this matchup has more of the feel of a massive prize fight than a College Football game. This game will have playoff implications, recruiting implications, and will have an effect on how the fanbase views both coaches especially, the losing head coach.

These two teams are coming off of seasons that had highlights but, both programs would prefer to forget every defensive drive they had this past season. Two Heisman winners depart and two program mainstays in Garrett Nussmeier and Miller Moss will take centerstage and lead the conversation around this game.

Which team will have changed the most?

Often times when entering a season you're hoping that the team looks similar to how they did the season prior. If LSU or USC look like they did in 2023 defensively, both fanbases will want to rip their hair out. These two programs went under defensive overhauls and the defense that looks the best equiped will certainly win this matchup as both teams look great offensivley on paper.
