5. Florida State Vs Georgia Tech (Ireland)

Not only will this game kick off the college football season but, it’ll also kick off the season in Ireland. The Seminoles enter the year looking for revenge after being left out of the playoffs with transfer quarterback DJ Uiagalelei. The Yellow Jackets present a serious threat returning a majority of their starters from last season including starting quarterback Haynes King.

4. Notre Dame At Texas A&M

It's very fitting that these two teams will face off in week one as Mike Elko's first game as Texas A&M's head coach will come against the quarterback that got him the job, Riley Leonard. The Fighting Irish open the year with a ton of hope as they hope to make the playoff for the first time under Marcus Freeman. The Aggies on the other hand have hope but, it's hard to predict what will happen as the team saw a ton of transfer activity with the head coaching change.

3. LSU vs USC

A few years ago debate shows argued over who the better hire was between Brian Kelly and Lincoln Riley, a few years later the two are heading in opposite directions. Both have had Heisman trophy winners, defensive disasters, and solid recruiting years however, there's more hope around Brian Kelly. This game will put the winner in an early position to make the College Football Playoff while the loser will likely be wondering if his defense will get any better in 2024 than it was in 2023.
